Hi, {{first_name | friend}}! Welcome back to Worth the Watch. Fall is officially underway, which means spooky season is right around the corner. Or, if you’re a Resident Evil fan like me, it’s already here! The new movie adaptation was fantastic and I can’t wait to share my thoughts in more depth, but first, we’re spending today’s edition of Worth the Watch looking ahead at the new shows and movies premiering next month! Keep reading to discover my wildly biased picks for the best premiere coming to every streaming service in October.

One quick reminder before we dive in: On the first Friday of every month, I watch and review a film chosen by you, the readers! October’s pick is the classic witchy rom-com Practical Magic, which won over 45% of the vote. To join in on the fun, watch the film before next Friday, October 2, and then read my full review in your inbox. Happy streaming!
