The God of the Woods

The God of the Woods by Liz Moore

Recommended by Lauren

“Looking for a page-turner? Well, charge up your book light, because this one will keep you up past your bedtime! It’s the best kind of twisty story, where everyone has something to hide, and secrets and second chances come to light. Plus, the writing is engrossing and immerses you into the world of the beautiful and dangerous Adirondack Wilderness.”

Victorian Psycho

Victorian Psycho by Virginia Feito

Recommended by Lane

“Clocking in at an efficient 208 pages, Victorian Psycho packs in all the fun, all the horror, and all the Victorian vibes without sacrificing the tension and slow burn of a longer novel. Plus, it’s getting the highbrow horror film treatment soon from film studio A24.”

My Sister, the Serial Killer

My Sister, the Serial Killer by Oyinkan Braithwaite

Recommended by Lee

“Wickedly dark comedy that is both funny and disturbing but not so chilling you’ll hear bumps in the night. Both entertaining and thought-provoking.”
