Welcome back to our third monthly movie club edition of Worth the Watch.
Our two prior picks—Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind & Take Shelter—are both older films and quite demanding in the sense that they require the viewer to be mentally locked in for the whole movie. They’re amazing films, and I implore you to give them a watch, but you have to be in a certain mood to engage with them in any meaningful way. And honestly, after getting engaged and then getting violently ill, I didn’t have that type of energy in me this month! I wanted to review something fun, easy-to-watch, and that made me feel good.

That’s why I was thrilled to see that multiple of you beautiful readers responded to last month’s movie club newsletter recommending Kate Hudson & Hugh Jackman’s recent musical biopic, Song Sung Blue. It’s based on a true story about two down-on-their-luck musicians who form a joyous Neil Diamond tribute band, proving it's never too late to find love and follow your dreams.
