Hi, {{first_name | friend}}! Welcome back to Worth the Watch. A few weeks ago I started watching Game of Thrones for the very first time. I became tired of hearing “Oh my God! How have you never seen it!?” every time I told someone I didn’t know who Jon Snow was. Rather than sassily snapping back with “How have you never seen [insert obscure movie title from 1954]?” I decided it’s finally time to check this legendary show off my watchlist. Plus, I’ve learned that nothing loses more street cred with fellow nerds than never having seen one of the most iconic fantasy series of our time.

After a ton of positive feedback on Part 1 of Watching Game of Thrones… 15 years later, I decided now’s the perfect time for a check-in! I’ve now made it through three seasons, witnessed an iconic bloody wedding, made some favorite (and least favorite) characters, and had my heart broken from some brutal character deaths. Today, I asked Joslyn, the resident Game of Thrones fandom leader at Pix, to create five questions about Seasons 1-3 of the series that long-time fans will want to hear a first-timer’s answers to.
