New York Times bestselling author Alan Dean Foster, master of both action and emotion, reveals a world where everything is perfect, but nothing is as it seems…
In a time where Earth has become overcrowded and polluted, people dream of escaping to Paradise, a verdant world where three races live in harmony. At least, that’s what the videos sent back to Earth show. So when Jonos and Liina finally make it to Paradise, they think they’ve found everything they hoped for. Until tragedy strikes.
Perfect for fans of first-contact sci-fi, high-stakes action, and classic space adventures, Lost on Paradise by Alan Dean Foster is the gripping alien-planet survival story you’ve been waiting for.
In the Spotlight
I recently rewatched A Ghost Story, and was reminded of why it’s not only one of my favorite supernatural fantasies, but also why it’s one of A24’s greatest films. This existential drama is a perfect spooky season watch if you want something hauntingly beautiful and unforgettable. Plus, it was the only film in last Friday’s Worth the Watch to earn a perfect 5/5 on the 🥀sad boy scale🥀. For more melancholic movie recommendations and hidden gems to get you through sad boy autumn, subscribe to Worth the Watch.
